A downloadable game for Windows

Automite is a sandbox/puzzle game where you use resources to craft magical constructs. Try out different crafting combinations to solve different puzzles around the map. Try and activate all the shrines!

How to Play:
– The goal of the game is to activate shrines: grey squares which can be found in hard-to-reach places all around the map. Since all of these shrines lay out of your reach, you'll have to craft automatons to activate them for you.
– Automatons have 3 different components: Material, Core, and Crystal. Materials impact what types of terrain your automatons can pass through. Cores determine how your automatons move and behaves. Crystals grant your automatons special attributes.
– Break down resource deposits on the map to pick up items
– Activate seven of the ten shrines to win!

Controls:
– WASD (or arrow keys) to move your player
– Click on objects to break them or pick them up (if an object highlights in white, it's clickable)

UI:
– Click on your inventory slots at the bottom to read the names of your different resources. Click the drop button to drop the resource you currently have selected.
– If you have enough of a resource, it will automatically show up in your crafting menu. Click the (>) button to cycle through your resource options.
– Press the (<) and (>) buttons at the top right to cycle through tutorials and tips.

All art, code, and sound was created by me (except the ambient forest and cave noises).

This game was originally created for Kindred Community Jam #3, but I hardcore didn't finish in time for the deadline :)

Note: Right now, the only way to close out the program is Alt + F4, Alt + Tab, or some other method of forced shutdown. I'm working on fixing this issue.

I love the art style in this game. It was fun to play, fun to explore and the collection aspect is pretty addictive. Really great work :)
